Playing in the surf
After arriving yesterday, and spending the afternoon body-boarding, it was time to get Connor out in his kayak. He had plans to kayak every day this year - so did I!
Just 2 generations out on the water today

Grandad was out for a bit of practice in the good ole' Micra-bat
I got Connor paddling whilst straddling the cockpit, good practice for balance
His forwards stroke is really strong, he passed through the breaking water no worries
Grandad catches a wave. Not big surf by any measurement, but all good practice for landing, launching and paddling overfalls etc.
Legs in the boat, Connor gets some practice.
Cerys wanted a go, here she had just 'surfed' in.
Getting her paddling in her tiny sit-on-top. She managed fairly well to propell her self along.
A good afternoon of fun. Need to get myself out now!
