Short boats today
After buying Connors Dagger axiom 2 weeks ago, I had heard nothing but 'when are we going kayaking Dad??'
So with the water today being pretty flat, we decided to give the new boat/boy their maiden voyage.
Dad/Grandad got in first for on-water support
I had to get into the water first and warm the wet suit up.
Connor wa really chomping at the bit, and finally the boat is wet!
We paddled back and forth across Porthsele, and then after half an hour or so we came back in.
Before Connor got out, he had a go at surfing, with me steering the boat.

We spent a little time surfing in the Micro-bat then as the tide came in.
A great day, with Connor starting to get to grips with his boat, and us having a nice wet session in the short boats.
